Daniel Perez, The Mad Puerto Rican
From David:
If you've listened to RPG podcasts for any length of time, you've heard the name Daniel Perez. Recently, Daniel's mother has been in and out of the hospital battling an illness. It's an expensive and trying time for Daniel's family.
Obviously, we can't do much about the trying times other than sending our support. But, for all that Daniel has done for the RPG industry, both in public and behind the scenes, there is something we can do to help the family out monetarily.
So, if you've got a few spare bucks, go ahead and toss it Daniel's way. Chances are if you've taken any enjoyment from RPG podcasts, he's been involved and earned it. Show him how we can take care of our own.
If you can't spare the cash, but still want to do something for the family, Daniel has put out an open call to centralize support so he can show it to his mother. Details follow below.
Thanks. Daniel's a great guy, and his family can use all the support they can get.
From Daniel:
My Mom simply has no idea the amount of people who have sent her good wishes for her recovery, and I'd like to show her.
In order to show her something that will make her feel good and lift her spirits, I have created an account for her on Facebook: Wanda I. Robles Ortiz.Wanda I. Robles
If you're so inclined, what I'd like to do is have people leave a nice message for her on the Wall. Then I can print out a screen-cap (or show her on the computer once she's out of ICU) of all the messages. It's corny, I know, but consider it an online version of a gigantic "Get Well" card.
I'm the one controling the account, so just friend her and I'll accept it so you can leave your message.
Thanks!
